In 1987, over 23 years ago, we started as party bus rentals and soon become known as a luxury Party Bus company. After a couple of years of experimenting, we developed a new market and concept to create the worlds first limousine party bus complete with a limo style mirrored ceiling and limo bar with lighting. From a marketing stand point the full name "Limousine Party Bus" was just too long so we shortened it, decided on a charter bus style logo and coined the phrase “Limobus”. Since we are doing business in San Diego, we called ourselves San Diego Limobuses. We went down to the SD county recorders and filed with fictitious Business names to make it official. When the internet came along in 1994 or so we reserved the simpler concept name that we coined “limobuses”.com
